Bio

“ I Do not want to see how skillful you are- I am not interested in your skill. What do you get out of nature? Why do you paint this subject? What is life to you? What reasons and principles have you found? What are your deductions? What projections have you made? What excitement, what pleasure do you get out of it? Your skill is the thing of least interest to me.”

Francis (Franny to me) John Giglio has been creating art ever since he first picked up a pencil at the age of two. Whether he is painting with acrylic paint, using his Wacom pen in Photoshop, sculpting with clay or sketching in pencil, the end result is nothing less than amazing. Fran is so multi-faceted that he can work with any medium to constitute art, everything that he touches becomes a formation of it.  Amidst all of his talent, the thing that I love the most about Fran is his everlasting modesty. No matter what he is doing or where he is working, he will always remain modest about his extraordinary capabilities. Whether I am bragging about him to others or compliments are being given to him, he always becomes embarrassed and says that he is always learning. He has no idea how talented he is and I am unceasingly astonished by what he can do. I hope that more people can see how gifted he is and that he can share his legacy with the rest of the world. Franny, I am so proud of you, I hope that one day, even if its only a glimpse, that you can see yourself the way that I do.

                                                                                                                       Love Always Your Wife,
